Check out what the Cornell Chronicle had to say about this last years Finger Lakes Craft Beverage Conference!
The craft beverage industry in New York State is booming. There are several reasons for the growth in this industry including an interest in locally produced foods and beverages, an increased awareness and demand for craft beverages and an improved legal climate as well as incentives for craft beverage businesses in NYS.
To support this burgeoning industry, Seneca County Cornell Cooperative Extension has organized its annual Finger Lakes Craft Beverage Conference (FLCBC) for Friday and Saturday, April 1st and 2nd at the Waterloo Holiday Inn. Designed for both new and experienced producers, the conference will provide the information and contacts a person needs to start a brewery, cidery, or distillery in New York and also provide a track to give those involved with an existing craft beverage business information they can use to improve their business. If you are thinking about starting a craft beverage business, are involved in an existing one, or just want to learn more about this industry, this conference is for you.
