2018 Finger Lakes Craft Beverage Conference

TUESDAY, MARCH 27: Conference

The 2018 Finger Lakes Craft Beverage Conference will feature multiple tracks with sessions covering legal issues, tax issues, marketing, distribution, beer and cider production issues. Hear from Government officials, craft beverage industry representatives, university researchers, extension educators, brewers, and cider makers about important topics related to your business and industry.

The event includes a trade show and opportunities for networking (including a Social Hour following the sessions) with others in your industry.

COST: $100/person ($90 for each additional person from the same brewery/cidery/farm); price includes a light breakfast, lunch, an evening social hour and a 2018 Finger Lakes Craft Beverage glass.

Be sure to register early (before March 20th) to avoid the late registration price of $115.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 28: Field Trips

The Seneca County Cornell Cooperative Extension will host two field trips from 8:30am to Noon. Choose to attend either the Brewery trip or the Cidery trip. The field trips are open to the public and do not require attendance at the Tuesday, March 27th conference.

COST: $20/person includes refreshments.
Choose one:

• The Brewery Field Trip will visit Fleur de Lis Beer Works. Fleur de Lis will be brewing a batch of beer while we’re there so participants will have the opportunity to observe and ask questions about the beer-making process.
• The Cidery Field Trip will visit Red Jacket Orchards to see their juicing operation and tree nursery and then visit The Cider Lab, a local cidery specializing in adding complexity to their ciders by using multiple yeasts in fermentation.
