Join us in the challenge of combining cooking skills with thinking on your feet!

Modeled after the TV show “Chopped”, participants will be provided Festival food and asked to reinvent it into a healthier (and tasty) recipe, using local foods and pantry items.

For the competition, teams of 3-5 Middle and/or High School students will need to have an adult mentor/supervisor in order to participate.

All ingredients, cooking tools, and supplies are provided so teams just have to bring their culinary creativity during this competition.

This competition will take place in the CCE Culinary Tent at Lafayette Park in Waterloo during Celebrate Commemorate Memorial Day.
