Attention aviation enthusiasts or fly like a Pirate! Do you have a youth who is interested in learning more about radio-controlled airplanes? The Cornell Cooperative Extension of Seneca County 4-H Youth Program is hosting a free open house with the Finger Lakes Air Pirates (FLAPS) club.

This is a third opportunity of an ongoing series offered by Seneca County 4-H Youth “spark” event to learn more about the science of flight. According to 4-H Youth Educator Karen Burcroff “Previous flight spark events welcomed a guest speaker for the Artemis II launch with a focus on space and rockets, and Empire Drone Day offered hands-on learning of drone operation.”

Members of FLAPS are looking forward to sharing their passion and expertise for aviation. Attendees will learn about the science of flight and try out the simulator before flying outside. All are welcome to attend.
