You are invited to attend the 2026 NY 4-H Capital Days, May 17-19, 2026!

4-H’ers ages 14-18 (as of January 1, 2026), join us in person in our state capital, Albany, as we get acquainted with our state government and connect with other teens and 4-H Educators from across the state! Visit the Assembly and Senate Chambers, the state court system, and tour the Capitol building and learn all about its history. Choose an agency you can interact with that you would like to know more about: Department of Ag & Markets, Department of Health, Department of Education, and Department of Environmental Conservation. Then schedule a visit with your Assemblyperson and Senator and tell your 4-H story. Learn how to speak up, be heard, and make a difference!

There is also a limited number (8) of $50 scholarships available 

from the NYSACCE4-HE 4-H Capital Days committee!

Teen Planning Committee Application

The objectives of the 4-H Capital Days program are:

To achieve a better understanding of the New York State policy process.
To gain a better understanding of state and local government connections.
To provide delegates the opportunity to meet with legislators and tell their 4-H stories.
To create an awareness of career opportunities within the New York State Government and Public Service.
To meet and exchange experiences with delegates from other counties. 

Fee

$285.00 for youth participants and chaperones
