2024 Grant & Grow Info Session (virtual option available)

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County invites farms, food-based businesses and agricultural businesses to join them as we hear from a variety of presenters on NYS grant and low-interest loan programs for farms & food-based businesses for who have been in operation for more than three years.

Presenters at this session will include:

USDA:Farm Service Agency, Natural Resources Conservation Service & Soil & Water Conservation District
USDA Rural Development (Value-Added Producer, Meat Processor Expansion, etc...)
USDA Ag Marketing Service (Farmers Market Promotion Program, Local Foods Promotion Program, etc...)
NBT Bank
Farm Credit East
NYS Department of Agriculture & Markets
NY Farm Viability Institute (Beginning Farmer & NY Grown & Certified)

This is a great opportunity to learn about the options for accessing financing, conservation programs, and other resources to grow your farm and/or food-based business!

Fee

$30/farm and pre-registration is required. Virtual registration is available and cost is $30. Coffee and pastries will be available in the morning and a lunch will be provided.
