Residents looking to learn more about recycling can attend this workshop in-person or online via Zoom.

Participants will gain a better understanding of the current recycling industry. Topics covered will include curbside single-stream, “return to store” recycling options, flow of recycling materials in NYS, regulated recycling facilities, NYS Solid Waste Management Plan, and challenges of hard-to-recycle materials like electronics and batteries. 

This important information will be shared by experts from Syracuse University Institute for Sustainability Engagement, NYS Department of Environmental Conservation Division of Materials Management, and Sunnking Sustainable Solutions.

This educational program is FREE to attend/participate, but registration is required.
