4-H Shooting Sports Hunting and Wildlife Program

Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 2:00pm-5:00pm at Kuneytown Sportsmen’s Club, Hoster Road in Seneca Falls, NY.

Youth ages 10 years and older learned about wildlife habitat, hunting tips, and how this all plays a role in wildlife conservation. Youth were also instructed on how to prepare wild game from the creator of the Wild Harvest Table program ( www.wildharvesttable.com) and received a wild game dinner and recipe booklet.

4-H Shooting Sports Air Rifle Training Series

Wednesday,  April 13, April 27, and May 11, 2016 from 6:00pm-7:30pm at Waterloo Rifle and Pistol Club, 1392 W River Road in Waterloo, NY.

Youth ages 12 years and older learned all the fundamental safety steps for handling and shooting an air rifle (rifle). All of the equipment was provided by 4-H for this event. Youth that attended all three days received their 4-H Shooting Sports Rifle Training Certificate. Youth were also instructed on how to prepare wild game from the creator of the Wild Harvest Table program ( www.wildharvesttable.com) and received a wild game recipe booklet.
