Farmers' Market in Seneca County

Farmers Market

Ovid Farmers' Market

Fridays from 3pm-7pm at Three Bears

Ovid Farmers Market page with schedule

Ovid Farmers' Market is on the lawn area closest to Main Street in front of the Three Bears complex.

Come and find local, fresh produce of all kinds! Fresh picked right down the road.

What better way to spend a Friday afternoon than checking out the market and stocking up for the weekend?!

The market will have produce vendors that accept Farmers Market Nutrition Program coupons (given to senior citizens who qualify and to WIC recipients) and SNAP recipients will be able to spend their SNAP benefits on any SNAP eligible items at the market.

The key to this community farmers’ market is promoting locally grown and produced items and providing residents with access to local, fresh fruits and vegetables and other products. We have the vendors coming to the market, now all we need are customers! So plan to attend every Friday through the end of September, rain or shine!

Hope to see you there!

Waterloo Rotary Farm Market

Saturdays from 9am-Noon at LaFayette Park

Waterloo Farmers Market page with schedule

The Waterloo Rotary Farm Market is the product of a collaboration between the Waterloo Rotary Club, the Seneca County Farm Bureau and the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Seneca County. In order to ensure that every piece of produce purchased at our Market can be traced to its origin, we are mandating that all of our vendors provide us with an accounting of trace-ability for their products. Additionally, it is required that 100% of the produce, dairy, flora, other products and artisan items sold at The Waterloo Rotary Farm Market be grown or produced in New York State.

We are happy to provide a well-deserved avenue to obtain fresh foods and local products for Waterloo Residents and and visitors to our Village. We envision this Market to be a gathering place where all are welcome and where local farmers and artisans can interact with the community and generate additional income.

Welcome to the Market!
