Registration is required by Sunday, February 21 in order to receive workshop materials in time if you chose to have them mailed out.
Registration will be open until the day of, if you chose to pick up your supplies at our office. In order to pick up your supplies at the office, you will need to call ahead of time to make an appointment due to Covid and staff availability. We are at the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays while Monday and Friday staff works remotely.

We all know it can be hard to get fresh, nutritious, local greens in the wintertime, so why not start growing your own sprouts at home? All you need are some seeds to sprout, a glass jar, mesh lid, water, and some simple instructions. In as little as 3 days you can have sprouts to eat! Vegetable sprouts are rich in vitamins that help your immune system fight through those common springtime colds, plus they taste great. Sprouts are delicious added to salads, sandwiches, and stir fries.
Participants will receive instructions, seeds, and mesh lid prior to class to be able to follow along and grow their own sprouts. All you will need is a glass mason jar and clean water. Our food and nutrition educators will walk you through starting your sprouts, discuss the nutritional benefits of different kinds of spouts, answer your questions, and share ways to enjoy eating your sprouts.
