The event is FREE and will run rain or shine!
Feeling stumped about when and how to trim your shrubs, bushes, and trees? Join us for an introduction to basic pruning from CCE Master Gardeners to learn when, why, and how to prune ornamental landscape trees and shrubs.
The Cobb’s will host a workshop on pruning, presented by their daughter, Pat, a Master Gardener Volunteer from Wayne County. Pat shares her interests and abilities in landscape gardening and maintenance with relatives, friends, and neighbors. Her passion is in pruning; including maintenance and rescue pruning of ornamental shrubs. Pat will offer a pruning brochure she developed and show many tips and tricks for pruning around the Cobb landscape.
Don and Ann will show their vegetables growing in their unheated high tunnel (“greenhouse”) as an added bonus.
