A series of pesticide training and recertification classes will be offered by Cornell Cooperative Extension. Anyone interested in obtaining a pesticide certification license and who meets the D.E.C. (Department of Environmental Conservation) experience/education requirements or current applicators seeking pesticide recertification credits should attend. |

Class 3- Pesticide Mixing, Equipment, and Calibrations

Private Certification: This is for the person who will be applying restricted pesticides to their own or employer’s property or rented property. |
Eligibility Requirement: You must have at least one year of experience mixing and applying pesticides within the last three years. |
Recertification Credits: Certified applicators, private or commercial, seeking recertification credits will receive 2.5 core credits per class. This is NOT a 30 hour credit course that is required for those who do not meet DEC eligibility requirements. |
Training Fee: $190.00 includes training manuals and attendance at all three classes. Exam Fee: $100.00 due the day of the exam. Recertification credits cost: $40.00/person/class |
