4-H members and their families will have a workshop, mini-tour, dinner, and show (starts at 7pm) included this year!

Schedule:

2:15pm: Parking in Forest Home Drive covered parking lot (37 Forest Home drive/ free on weekends)

2:30pm - 3pm: Arrival to Cornell University’s (Martha Van Rensselaer Hall - take the elevator to floor T)

3:15pm: Opening, Introductions, Mini Tour & Workshop

4:45pm - 5:45 pm: Dinner & Chat About NYS Fair programming

6pm: Walk to Fashion Collective & Find Seats

7pm: Show

The Cornell Fashion Collective is a student-run organization that provides members of the Cornell community with an outlet to express creativity in fashion and fashion management. Each spring, our organization presents a professional runway show featuring the talent of students who both design apparel and manage the operations of the show. Our organization gives students, both undergraduate and graduate, the opportunity to practice design, demonstrate their talents, and learn how to produce a large-scale fashion event.

This organization is a registered student organization of Cornell University.

The 2026 mini-tour will be of the Cornell Textile Collection which is also a part of our Rare Manuscript Collections. In addition, a tour of the Fiber Science and Apparel Design labs and studios will be available.

The workshop details are being worked out but will be hosted by 4-H alum and FSAD PhD Candidate, Samantha Alberts. Samantha has an Ithaca-based 4-H clothing club that she runs.
