Youth ages 5 and up. Ages 5-7 require adult supervision with parent or guardian

Did you know that not only are butterflies pretty, but they are also good pollinators?

Join us to:

  • Learn about these delicate insects and how to attract them to your yard by making a feeding station for them.
  • Learn about common butterflies in this area so you can identify them when they visit your yard.
  • Decorate small pots and plant sunflower and zinnia seeds to take home to grow and add to your garden for the butterflies.
  • Make a pretty origami butterfly so you’ll also have a butterfly to take home.

Fee

$5 for current 4-H members. $15 for non-members that includes 1 year 4-H membership
