It’s the height of the produce growing season in the Finger Lakes! Peaches, apples, berries, and vegetables are in abundance in gardens, Farmers’ Markets, and at the produce stands. And, perhaps, you have some beef roasts or venison in your freezer from last season that can be made into meat jerky!
Avoid the cost and/or the artificial additives of store-bought dehydrated foods by learning how to make your own products with fresh ingredients from Cornell Cooperative Extension Nutrition staff and Master Food Preservers.
