Rain Gardens

Protecting water quality of our ground water and surface waters is critical for the future of Seneca County. Rain gardens using native plants collect rainwater from buildings, parking lots or roads. The plants can trap and filter out pollutants from entering ground water or surface waters. The flowers can also attract butterflies, bees or birds.
