Come one, come all to the 4-H Open House! On Thursday of National 4-H Week, let us shine a light on all the good that 4-H does by joining us that day at the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Seneca County Office. The evening is open to all who would like to learn more about what 4-H has to offer.

Several hands-on stations will be set up for youth to explore, and current 4-H members will be sharing some of their favorite 4-H opportunities which includes their experiences with different programs and trips. Information about youth membership and clubs will be available as well as ways for adult volunteers to be involved.

Youth are invited to come try hands-on, potentially messy (and definitely fun) STEM, gardening, cooking, and fiber craft activities. Some examples include making Wiggle-bots, learning how to make VR images on your own cell phones, and up-cycling juice pouches into wallets!

If you have a child between the ages of 5 and 19, come experience the kinds of things 4-H has to offer. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, this is also a great evening to stop by. The office is located at 369 East Main Street in Waterloo, right next to Huntington Nursing Home in the former Taylor Brown Hospital.

4-H is the youth development program of Cornell Cooperative Extension.
