Cornell Cooperative Extension of Seneca County is excited to offer a day of hands-on fun fall activities at the Seneca County Community Garden.
CCE Seneca Master Gardeners will be sharing advice on how to put your garden to bed for winter, including demonstrations on how to clean and care for your gardening tools and trellises for end of the season.
CCE Seneca Master Food Preservers will be demonstrating how to steam juice and share food preservation methods for juicing apples and grapes, in addition to tips and tricks on how to harvest, freeze, can, dehydrate and ferment your fall produce. There will be nutrition information on fall fruits and vegetables as well as samples to enjoy.
CCE Seneca 4-H staff will be leading youth in pumpkin and other fall themed activities, so don’t miss out on this jam-packed event!
