AGENDA

Join us for the New York Soil Health Field Day on August 13th; live demos, expert insights, and practical tools to build healthier soils.

The New York Soil Health Field Day is part of the New York Ag Showcase, bringing together growers, industry partners, and researchers for two days of connection and insight in Seneca Falls.

This event highlights soil health practices, current research, outdoor field demonstrations, and practical on‑farm applications. It offers farmers and ag professionals the opportunity to explore strategies that improve soil function, sustainability, and long‑term productivity.

We are thrilled to announce that Rick Clark and Dr. Harold van Es will headline this year’s event, bringing two powerful perspectives on soil health and regenerative agriculture. Rick Clark is a fifth‑generation Indiana farmer known nationally for his regenerative organic system built on no‑till, diverse rotations, and farming green. Dr. Harold van Es, Professor of Soil Science at Cornell University, is a leading expert in soil health assessment, digital agriculture, and sustainable cropping systems. Together, they offer a unique blend of on‑farm innovation and scientific insight to guide producers toward more resilient, profitable systems.

Attendees will also enjoy a BBQ lunch from Mooney’s BBQ, adding great food to a day filled with top‑tier learning and practical insights.

CCA and NYS DEC pesticide applicator credits will be available.

Join us on August 13th for a full day of education, networking, outdoor field demos, and on‑farm learning—and be sure to kick things off at Day 1 of the Ag Showcase with the New York Corn & Soybean Growers Summer Crop Summit on August 12th.
