CCE Culinary Tent at Celebrate Commemorate 2026

All activities take place in the Cornell Cooperative Extension Culinary Tent.

	SATURDAY, MAY 23, 2026
10am	Blender Bike your way to Healthy Breakfast Smoothies Take a spin on our new CCE blender bike. Sample a healthy smoothie made with local products and learn new recipes and tips to start your day right.
11:30am-1pm	Dairy! Milk, ice cream, butter, cheese, yogurt…yum! Come taste some dairy samples, learn more about how dairy products are produced, recipes, and nutritional benefits. You may even get to practice milking a cow.
1-2pm	Farm to School is COOL! CCE is working with our local school districts to grow gardens and bring more local produce into school cafeterias. Try some Farm to School recipes and learn more about this exciting program.
2-3:30pm	Food Preservation Station CCE Master Food Preservers will be demonstrating how to safely preserve foods in peak flavor and freshness at home, including making freezer jam and dilly beans. Recipes and samples will be provided. Bring your Food Preservation questions and chat with us.
3:30-5pm	Baked Goods 2.0 – More nutritious, but just as delicious! Discover and sample new recipes with a healthier twist. Learn how to make your favorite baked goods using maple syrup, honey, applesauce, yogurt, fruit, and even veggies. This is a great way to hide veggies for picky eaters!

	SUNDAY, MAY 24, 2026
9am-12pm	Learn how to Rethink Your Drink with 4-H! Sample some healthy ways to stay hydrated as the weather warms up.
12-3:30pm	8th Annual 4-H Junior Iron Chef Competition! Open to teams of Middle Lafayette Park and/or High School Students. Watch youth repurpose vendor food from the festival into something different and compete to go on to the NYS State Fair. Celebrity judges!
