This workshop is free and open to all ages!
Container culture is essentially the growing of hardy garden and frost-tender plants in pots, tubs, and decorative-type containers. If your growing space is limited, gardening
in containers may be the answer for you!
Whether you are new to gardening or an old pro, this workshop will give you valuable information to help you grow tasty herbs and beautiful flowers! Participants will receive one (1) container, soil, and choice of two (2) herbs and/or flowers to chose from.
Herbs/Flower choices:
Participants are encouraged to bring any leftover seedlings you couldn’t use in your own garden to share with others as there will be a seedling swap as well during this time.
CCE Master Gardeners will be there to provide information about site selection, soil preparation, when and what to plant, and even starting your own seeds.
