Agenda/Topics:
9am-10am: Composting Workshop - Ryan Staychock, CCE Environmental/Natural Resources Educator, will discuss the values of backyard composting, and various materials that can be used to build a productive, healthy compost pile.
10am-10:30am: Tool Sharpening Workshop - Neil Cassata, CCE Master Gardener Volunteer, will demonstrate how to properly sharpen your garden tools to prepare for use in the Spring. Feel free to bring your own gardening tool from home to learn how to get it sharpened.
10:30am-11am: Preparing your Garden for Spring - CCE Master Gardener Volunteers will discuss tips and practices for getting your garden ready for Spring planting, along with answering any questions.
All participants will also receive handouts and valuable composting and garden tool care information.
