The Great New York State Fair – August 24-September 5

The 4-H Shooting Sports program will have the Laser Shot Booth, track kits, and taxidermy display at the NYS Fair during the whole duration in the Youth Building (on the west end of the building) opposite the poultry display. 

We are looking for youth, volunteers, and educators to operate the booth. This can be youth from any county in New York, though we prefer to see youth with previous 4-H Shooting Sports experience. Volunteers and educators should have 4-H Shooting Sports certification or knowledge of running the program and will serve primarily as facilitators and supervisors to make sure the booth is properly staffed and operated. 

The booth is open from 10AM (when the building opens) until 4 PM, possibly later. Dormitory space is available with proper chaperoning, through your county.
