Seneca County Cornell Cooperative Extension invites you to Celebrate Seneca County Agriculture, Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Floral Hall at the Seneca County Fairgrounds at the corner of Swift and North Streets in Waterloo. Experience the diversity of agriculture in Seneca County as you sample products from the Seneca Falls Farmers’ Market. Taste the pork provided by the NYS Pork Producers Association. Compare the wines of the Cayuga and Seneca Wine Trails along with local distilled spirits and cider. Try the local meats from Schrader’s Meat Market. Learn how to prepare wild game and fish with Mo Tidball from the Wild Harvest Table. Sip some tea from Finger Lakes Tea Company. Find out what is happening at Meadville Farms. These are just some of the businesses and products that will be highlighted on the Fair’s opening night. Products will be available for purchase and to sample. The first 100 people at the CCE booth can enjoy a Seneca County Root Beer Float made from local ice cream and root beer. After stopping in Floral Hall, check out the other exhibits at the Seneca County Fair and enjoy the Jesse Alexander Band at the grandstand. Bring your family and friends. It will be a great time for all with fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
