DESCRIPTION:Corn silage harvest is drawing near. The way corn silage is harvested and stored is a single event that affects your operation for the entire next year. Dry Matter dictates when harvest should begin, and is influential to the success of the harvest.What you&#39;ll receive: Whole plant dry matter and estimated harvest date rangeInformation on best management practices specific to 2026 Corn Silage HarvestOpportunity to ask your questions and have some refreshmentsSampling details:Farmers in the local areas are encouraged to cut a bundle of 3 stalks from each corn field that they would like to be tested for dry matter, and bring them to the event location from 10am – 2pm. Sample corn stalks should be from a representative area in the field, and should be cut the morning of the event at the height you plan to set your chopper.
