DESCRIPTION:Registration required.&amp;nbsp;Register online at:&amp;nbsp;https://reg.cce.cornell.edu/peach2026_245If you do not have access to the internet, call 315-539-9251We all enjoy that first bite of a juicy peach - join us to learn how to preserve it to enjoy all year long!&amp;nbsp; Through hands-on demonstrations, CCE Seneca Master Food Preservers will show how to preserve peaches by hot water bath canning, dehydrating, and freezing. Participants will also learn how to make jam, salsa, and pie filling.Peaches are a juicy, nutrient-dense stone fruit that originated in China and symbolizes longevity. According to Maxine Smith, RDN, LD, at the Cleveland Clinic, peaches offer numerous health benefits, including improved digestion, a healthy heart, a strengthened immune system, better eye health, smoother skin, reduced inflammation, and alleviated allergy symptoms.
