Seneca Falls Farmers' Market
When: Wednesdays, starting June 12th through mid-October, 2013, 9AM to 1:30PM
Where: People's Park, canalside, near Seneca Falls Community Center
What: Locally (New York State) grown fruits and vegetables. Many locally crafted products will also be available. In addition, look for homemade baked goods, jams and jellies and cut flowers.
While you’re in the village, why not check out the nearby local businesses. Whatever you don’t find at the market might be found right nearby. Support local farmers and local business owners.
All of our produce vendors will be accepting farmers’ market nutrition coupons, available through the WIC program and Office for the Aging for families and seniors 60 and over who meet the criteria.
We also will be able to accept Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards for food stamp recipients to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at the market. Short on cash? Come and use your credit or debit card at the market too!

Seneca County CCE would like to thank the Cornell Farm to School Program for providing educational literature for our website. The Cornell Farm to School Program works with schools, farmers, county offices of Cornell Cooperative Extension and the NY Farm Bureau, NYS Dept. of Agriculture and Markets, NY Farms!, and many other partners to increase the amount of locally grown food served in New York public schools and colleges. This benefits everyone. Students gain access to appealing, high quality foods, while additional farm sales boost local economies.
