Lodi Food4All has home food preservation equipment to lend out to community members to preserve food at home, but first you need to learn the basic safety practices to participate.
By attending this class presented by certified Master Food Preservers from Cornell Cooperative Extension, you will learn all you need to know to safely preserve food at home and then be able to borrow local equipment to get started.
Come learn how to preserve fresh produce and meats and the science of safely canning food.
We will review equipment needs, food preservation techniques, including pressure canning, and how to preserve tomatoes.
