Gardening in a Changing Climate Workshop

  • Tuesday, May 16, 2017, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Wondering how your garden might be affected by all the crazy weather? Is it global warming? How will we be affected here in Upstate New York?

Come to the Seneca Falls Community Center in Seneca Falls on Tuesday, May 16th from 6:00 PM-7:30 PM to hear Donna Levy, educator at the Cornell Botanic Gardens, speak about gardening in a changing climate. Most people are aware that the earth’s climate is changing. What do these changes mean for our locale? How are our gardening efforts affected? Explore ways that you can adapt to these changes to make your gardens successful.

Donna will present a PowerPoint with some pertinent information and then be available to answer questions related to your own personal gardening efforts and what you might do to compensate for the changing climate.

The fee is $5.00 and registration is strongly suggested. Space is limited so register early!

To register or for additional information, contact Seneca County Cornell Cooperative Extension at 315-539-9251. To register online, go to: https://reg.cce.cornell.edu/gardeningchangingclimate_245 or visit www.senecacountycce.org
