Seneca County Cornell Cooperative Extension is offering a Gluten-Free Living Workshop on Wednesday, March 15th from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Seneca County Cornell Cooperative Extension office.

Living with gluten intolerances can be challenging. Let’s face it, the whole world revolves around eating gluten.

Please join Sue Petersen, Clinical Nutritionist and CCE Nutrition Educator, as she teaches you how to navigate the gluten-free lifestyle using a hands-on approach to all things gluten-free, including how to make your own gluten-free pizza and muffins that don’t taste like cardboard.

You will walk away from this workshop knowing:

  • What it means to be gluten-free and how to create an abundant lifestyle
  • Signs and symptoms of gluten intolerance
  • What foods will harm you but more importantly what foods will heal you
  • How to navigate a supermarket and eat out at a restaurant
  • How to set up your home to be gluten-free, with a gluten-free pantry must have list
  • How to make a gluten-free pizza and muffins

People who should attend include; People that have Celiac, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), or Crohn’s disease. Someone that has a gluten sensitivity, any one that may suspect they have a gluten intolerance, or anyone that takes care of someone with a gluten-intolerance should attend.
