4-H Living History February Workshop

  • Sunday, February 5, 2017, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Any youth grades K-12 - you don't need to be enrolled in 4-H to try out this activity!

Join us as we explore either:

The life of a soldier in the Civil War - learn about signing up, some things a soldier would need, some basic marching and some games you would have played when you had had time off, and gentlemanly behavior at a tea party as we join the young ladies for the afternoon tea.

OR

The Deportment of a Young Lady - Learn about what a girl your age would have done during this time, the manners of the time, a sewing project, and join in an afternoon tea party.

** Girls are welcome to sign up for soldier's life or boys for the Civilian life explorations! Be sure to designate when you sign up.

To register, call 315-539-9251 or email seneca@cornell.edu.
